We know you are excited to get started with the Adopt A Cow program. Here are THREE common questions to get you ready for the program this year. (This is a series of informational emails to welcome you to the program and answer important questions. If you missed yesterday's welcome email, click here to view it.)
1. When do I find out about my host farm and adopted calf? A full program calendar with email arrival details and more can be found in the Adopt A Cow portal on the Program Calendar page.
2. What is the Cow Code and how do I use it? Throughout the year, you will use a Cow Code to access your farm and calf information. Cow Codes will be provided on Tuesday, October 10. Once you have your Cow Code, you will:
Type your Cow Code in the code box and click SUBMIT
Access, download, and save any of the photos, videos, and documents
Use the same Cow Code all year long to view your calf updates
3. When will I get my Welcome Packet? United States registrants will receive a welcome packet as part of the free Adopt A Cow program. This welcome packet includes a printed program calendar, a printed photo of your calf, and an official adoption
certificate. Packets will arrive in November. More details about the arrival date will be provided in November.
All registrants (including international participants) will also receive digital access to these materials in the Adopt A Cow portal on Friday, November 10.
